My joyful addiction

I have a slight addiction to tea. Okay, so it might be more than just a slight addiction.

It is my vice, and similar to coffee drinkers my withdrawal symptoms consist of exhaustion and extreme moodiness (just ask my friends).

I bet you can’t imagine that.

Aren’t all tea drinkers supposed to behave like nice little old British ladies sipping their tea from perfect polka dotted china cups and saucers?

Apparently not.

As of late, I have been plotting my daily trip to Starbucks for a joy tea latte. Yes, you heard me. Joy tea latte. Sounds pretty harmless right? Don’t be fooled by it’s pleasant name. They are highly addictive and could lead to an intervention.

Joy tea only comes out once a year around the holidays.  Thus you can see why I am forced to spend copious amounts of money to soothe my tea craving soul.

In fact, I have just finished my grande joy tea latte (soy milk, unsweetened, no water) and wouldn’t you know, a friend just invited me to Starbucks.

I guess I have no choice but to have another latte. After all, the only thing better than a joy tea latte is two.
